Fall is a fun time of year for many reasons. It is my favorite time of year because of the cooler temperatures and the beautiful leaves. Many of my friends like fall because of football season. Still others like that it brings hunting season. One of the other reasons to like fall started last week – the season premiers of TV shows! The return of Glee, CSI, Big Bang Theory and of course Survivor and our favorite – The Amazing Race! This season also brought a new show, or a remake of an old one that I used to watch, Hawaii Five-O. And if you haven't seen The Middle or Modern Family they are also great. Can you tell that we like TV a lot at our house?
This brings me to something that I have been doing a lot of lately – reading. I became obsessed with The Girl WIth The Dragon Tattoo a few weeks ago and have since read The Girl Who Played With FIre and am ready for The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest. I have read five or six Vince Flynn books and love them, they are a lot like watching 24 – which was one of my favorite TV shows. These have all been great books to escape with. In the mean time I have been reading three other books that just keep getting put aside, not because they aren't good – they just don't get you hooked like the others – Think And Grow Rich, Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance and Common Sense. Of those three you have to read Common Sense by Glenn Beck, every person in America should read it no matter what your political views are, he holds no punches toward either party.
