This morning while I was talking to a senior, class of 2012, he mentioned that he couldn't believe that he was already a senior and that it seemed like yesterday he was a freshman. Immediately it reminded me of the Trace Adkins song Your Gonna Miss This and Darius Rucker's It Won't Be Like This For Long. While I was growing up my parents always told me that I was wishing my life away when I was wanting summer to hurry up and get here. Most of the time we never realize just how true that is until we are adults and even then we end up doing the same thing and not enjoying each phase of life as it comes. Enjoy the diapers, the crying, all of the practices and games while you can because soon you will look back and wonder where it all went. It is amazing that our youngest is going to be a Junior in high school this year, and our oldest a Junior in college! Time truly does fly by.
