Can you believe how fast things change this time of the year. One day the trees are bare and the next thing you know they are all green. Every year when I start seeing the pollen and little "worm" or "tassel" looking things on the trees I remember just how fast they fall off and are replaced magically by leaves. Two days this week we were working in the yard trying to get the beds cleaned out and things cleaned up — a little later than usual this year. Tuesday afternoon, while burning leaves, I couldn't help but look around and think just how pretty and lush everything is now and how I wished that I was taking someone's portraits instead of doing yard work.
