“Who Broke It?”

Have you ever thought "if one more thing breaks I'm going to scream"?  It seems like when one thing breaks another is sure to follow, some people say they come in multiples of three.  I don't know what it is, except for us putting things off over the last two or three years but this seems to be the year for everything to go.  Air conditioners in two cars and the studio, another car is dead – and nobody can figure out what the problem is with it; lawnmower, boat – 16 year old boat and you know what they say about owning a boat anyway; pressure washer, house needs painting and the list goes on and on right now.  About a week ago we had a full week of that kind of thing.  Now as I think about things that can and can't break I am comforted that our portraits of our family are one of the things that can't break, it had to come back to that didn't it.  Over the years we have had some customers that have come in after a home disaster where they did, among other things, loose their family portraits and luckily we were able to replace the ones that we had done.  I guess we just need to sit back and count our blessings and think about all of the things that we have that are working well for us.  We have it pretty good in this country even when things seem to be imploding all around us.
